1. Data Collection & Purpose

Applications published by Digital NEXUS (digitalnexus.io) are designed as utility tools that prioritize offline local storage and end-user data ownership. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

• Local Operational Data: Vehicle inspections, equipment logs, timestamped notes, and inventory records are stored securely in local app storage (SQLite / Room / encrypted preferences).
• Camera & Photos: When you photograph equipment, defect points, receipts, or job sites, images are saved locally to your device and attached to your reports. Photos are never accessed without your direct command.
• Location Data (Optional): If enabled, GPS coordinates are queried solely to stamp verifiable physical location proof onto your reports or webhook payloads. We do not perform background user tracking.
• Audio & Microphone (Where applicable): In Push-to-Talk communication applications (CrewTalk), audio is transmitted in real time strictly across active intercom channels. Recordings are not permanently stored on remote servers.

2. Permissions Requested

• android.permission.CAMERA: Used strictly to capture inspection photos and scan QR / barcodes.
• android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Used strictly when attaching GPS coordinates to inspection proofs.
• android.permission.INTERNET: Used to verify Google Play subscriptions, fetch updates, or dispatch user-configured webhooks.
• android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO: Used exclusively during active Push-to-Talk sessions.

3. Third-Party Services

Our applications integrate standard Google Play infrastructure services:

• Google Play In-App Billing: Processes premium subscriptions and one-time purchases securely via Google Play. We never handle or store payment card details.
• Google Play Services: Used for app integrity, update delivery, and anonymized crash reporting.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You have full control over your data. You may delete any report, photo, or log entry directly from within the app at any time. To request complete deletion of any associated account records or customer service emails, please email our support desk at support@digitalnexus.com.

5. Children's Privacy

Our applications are professional and commercial utility tools intended for adults and workplace professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
