This Privacy Policy governs the use of Split: Group Expense Sharing, developed and distributed by Digital NEXUS. We are committed to transparency, user autonomy, and protecting your personal data in full compliance with Google Play Store Developer Program Policies and international privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA).
Split operates on an offline-first architecture. All expense calculations, bill divisions, currency conversions, and transaction histories are stored locally on your device in secure database storage. We do not transmit or store your banking credentials, payment card numbers, or personal financial accounts.
Split may request camera or storage access solely for scanning paper receipts and bills at your explicit direction. Receipt images are processed locally on-device.
Optional cloud synchronization utilizes encrypted endpoints. Google Play In-App Billing is used for premium tier upgrades.
We implement robust technical encryption standards (HTTPS/TLS) for any data transmitted over networks. Offline data is stored securely in sandbox app storage on your device. You have the right to request deletion of your account and any associated support communications at any time by contacting our privacy compliance desk.
This application is intended for adult and professional users (age 18 and older) and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
